green zone

Green Zones represent Veteran-Friendly areas on campus where Student Veterans can find assistance from faculty and staff members for virtually any issue. Green Zone certified personnel are motivated individuals who have received special training in the unique challenges faced by Student Veterans. If you see the Green Zone sticker around campus, you will find a faculty or staff member who is prepared to assist you and/or your family in navigating the rigors of the college experience.

Lounge

The lounge is open for Veteran's to use during the day. It provides a quiet study space to work on homework or to just relax. There is also coffee and an eating area and kitchen if you would like to make food or snack. The lounge is pitctured below, and is open throughout the week. Occasionally there are events held in the lounge.

Student Veteran's Organization

The SVO is open to all students, veteran or non-veteran. The SVO was established to assist veterans with the transition from military to civilian life by creating a social and professional support network; to encourage scholarship, leadership and community outreach; to raise awareness and understanding of veteran issues on campus, in the local community and nationally; and to unite TAMU-CC student veterans to facilitate camaraderie.
